REDLANDS, Calif. -- Police say two teenagers were killed and two others wounded in a shooting in the city of Redlands in San Bernardino County.

Redlands police spokesman Carl Baker says the department received a call shortly after 7 p.m. Wednesday of shots fired in the common area of an apartment complex in the city.

When officers arrived they found four victims in various locations, all within a block of each other. He says one teen was pronounced dead at the scene and another died later at a hospital. The other two remain hospitalized at Loma Linda University Medical Center. He did not know their conditions.

The motive for the shooting is not known.
