Pa. man pleads guilty to YouTube threat of Cantor

A Philadelphia man has admitted he threatened the second-ranking House Republican in a video posted on YouTube.

Federal prosecutors say 38-year-old Norman LeBoon pleaded guilty in Philadelphia on Tuesday to two threat-related charges.

They say LeBoon called Virginia congressman Eric Cantor a liar and "a Lucifer" in the video and vowed to shoot him. He was arrested in March.

After LeBoon's arrest, prosecutors said he suffers from multiple personalities, but he has since been declared competent. LeBoon faces up to 15 years in prison at his Feb. 3 sentencing.

A bullet was fired through Cantor's campaign office in Richmond this spring. Authorities did not link LeBoon's video to that act.

Cantor is expected to be voted majority leader when the new Republican-led Congress convenes in January.
