A new website is working to help veterans & Reserve Guardsmen land jobs.

The Army Reserve launchedThe Employer Partnership Initiativein the spring of 2010.

They hopethe new websitewill make it easier for the 1,2000 employers to find their perfect candidates among the Veterans and Army Reserve registered.

Retired Proctor & Gamble executive &Army Reserve Chief Lt. Gen. Jack C. Stultz came up with the program andcontinues to oversee it.

As we celebrate Veterans Day this week it is important to remember those who have served our country.

"Our challenge is to seehow we caneffectively assist our trained and qualified men and women in their transition to the civilian sector" says Daniel Allen, the director of the Employee Partnership Office.

General Electric and Wal-Mart are just a few of the fortune 500 companies that are a part of the program.
