800,000 Flood Victims Stranded

We're getting reports that 800,000 people are stranded because of the Pakistan floods. What does that mean? The only way to get to them is by air. Pakistan is putting out a call for helicopters so they can reach the stranded.

Flooding in the southern part of the country has been going on for weeks. Today the prime minister said he is concerned about the strain on the medical system because disease is expected to spread as flooding ends and the country dries out.

Flood waters have left more than a million people homeless. President Asif Ali Zardari said it could take three years for the country to recover from these floods.
