New York City authorities have evacuated parts of Times Square once again due to a suspicious package, police tell FoxNews.com.

Authorities tell Fox News the suspicious package was called in at 9:06 p.m. ET, though the package is believed to be garbage, NBC New York reports.

The evacuation comes on the heels of an attempted car bombing in Times Square on May 1.
