Transportation secretary Ray LaHood will make a formal announcement this morning on his plans to seek aban on texting while driving in all states. But will he also be grilled on the difficulties facing the Cash for Clunkers program? We'll go live to his press conference at the top of our show.

A tour bus carrying 30 Special Olympians rolled over on an interstate in the early hours of the morning today. At least one passenger is known to have serious injuries. The group was traveling through Nebraska on their way back from a softball tournament.

And today marks President Obama's 48th birthday! There is no rest for the leader of the country however- as he plans briefingsat the White House on Cash for Clunkers and the healthcare plan.
