After the Morning Meeting

Legislators are in a race against time this morning, as Supreme Court Confirmation Hearings continue, and the president's deadline for passing the National Health Care Reform bill nears.

We will be going live to a press conference where GOP members of the health committee will address their concerns with the proposed reform. Later in the afternoon, President Obama will take the podium in the Rose Garden to issue his defense.

With the federal deficit now over the trillion dollar mark, will this new nationalized health care add to the amount?Information hasbeen released, which predicts the number may climb to a staggering $1.8 trillion by year's end.

Phil Keating will join us from Kennedy Space Center today, as NASA prepares to launch the Space Shuttle Endeavor. The shuttle will be bringing equipment and fresh crew-members to the International Space Station.

A new warning out this morning may have you holding on tighter than usual if you use a train for your morning commute. In the wake of three deadly commuter train crashes in the past month, officials are now saying that the current warning equipment on many trains may not work!
