From the Breaking News Desk... Michael Vick's attorneys saying he's been approved for release to home confinement.
His lawyers telling the Associated Press they expected him to be moved any day into a halfway house in Newport News, Virginia... but, there's no bed space there, according to a prison official. So, Vick will likely be released as early as May 21st to go home and serve the rest of his 23-month sentence with electronic monitoring.
Remember, Vick left the Atlanta Falcons as their star quarterback for the federal penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kansas. He's doing time for dogfighting conspiracy.
Vick would only be allowed to leave his home once he's released... for activites approved by his probation officer.
Wonder if that would include FOOTBALL???
