BND: Uh-oh! TN Bigwigs proven wrong about dangers of sludge spill?

From the Breaking News Desk, here's one I'm watching unfold for the worse in Harrisman, TN. Independent water quality tests from a DC-based organization... reveal alarming levels of arsenic and othe toxins, afterall the clean up andtalk from officials that residents aresafe.

When story first broke in December when more than1.1.billion gallonsof ash spilled from a containment area atthe Kingston FossilPlant. When the ash hit water sources it turned to heavy, nasty sludge. Officials said in several news conferences since then-- water was safe to drink.

Now, crossing the urgent wires-- river water (not from wells) is containminated and water in the area does not meet US Fed safety standards for drinking.
