Disney, in the wake of this month’s deadly alligator attack at one of its Florida resorts, is quickly removing gator references — even cartoon depictions — from park shows and displays, according to published reports.
A 2-year-old Nebraska boy was snatched and killed by a gator at the Seven Seas Lagoon at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa on June 14, prompting the new anti-alligator policy, employees told the Miami Herald.
So far these alligators have reportedly been written off at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.:
