Etihad Airways, known for its award-winning First and Business class accommodations, is rolling out a new service that caters to elite flyers.

Today, the airline announced a partnership with Victor, an on-demand private jet company that will allow The Residence and First Apartment passengers to charter their own plane to connect to their long-haul flight at select international airports.

Etihad’s First Apartment, with one-way fares starting at $4,000 between London and Abu Dhabi, and its premiere Residence—a three-room suite with Abu-Dhabi to New York fares starting at $32,000—are the airline’s most luxurious class offerings but are only available on A380s flying out of certain airports like  New York’s John F. Kennedy, London’s Heathrow and Sydney’s Kingsford Smith.

With Victor’s app, Etihad’s high rolling flyers can seamlessly book their full itinerary—from private charter to their Residence and First Apartment class fare-- from wherever they are in the world. Etihad Airways is the first scheduled airline to partner with private jet charter providers and says the service will make it easier for the airline to meet the “sophisticated needs of the private jet customer.”

Launched in April, Victor says it is the only private jet charter company that provides real-time availability—and only one to fully disclose all transaction fees upfront—which it easier for users to know exactly what they’re getting, and quickly.  The company has access to 7,000 jets—ranging from turbo prop planes to jumbo Gulfstreams-- at 40,000 airports around the world through its various operating partners. Currently, 50 percent of all Victor bookings are made through its mobile app.

Etihad will offer A380 service to Melbourne and Mumbai in 2016. Now the airline’s flagship aircraft operates two of the three daily services from Abu Dhabi to London Heathrow, one of its two daily services between Abu Dhabi and Sydney, and one of its two daily services to New York.

Existing members of Etihad Guest, the airline’s frequent flyer program, will get full mobile access to Victor and a $1,500 card that can be used towards his or her first private jet booked through the app.
