Airports aren't just for flying anymore.
Yes, we all know that many offer showers, massages and mani-pedis for the weary traveler looking to kill a little time.
But we did some digging and found out that many airports in America have some pretty unusual stuff.
From airport gardens that grow food for concourse restaurants, to secret underground bunkers, to a 9 foot halibut (do they even grow that big?), airports have features that help make them destinations in their own right.
And while not all of these things are geared to improve the customer experience, these unique and sometimes creepy things are worth checking out the next time you travel through, and could make your airport stay just a little bit more interesting.
