And now some fresh pickings from the Political Grapevine:
The federal limousine fleet has increased by 73 percent during the first two years of the Obama administration.< p>iWatch News analyzed General Services Administration (GSA) data that shows the number of limos increased from 238 in fiscal year 2008 to 412 in 2010.
The administration attributes the increase to security concerns. But the GSA says its own limousine numbers are not reliable because the term "limo" can cover a variety of vehicles and uses.
That didn't sit well with one government watchdog group -- quote -- "If the government can't track limos, I'm not sure we should trust the numbers they put out there on anything."
Conservatives are pouncing on a statement from Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
This is what she had to say -- quote -- "We have 12 million undocumented immigrants in this country... The Republican solution that I've seen in the last three years is that... it should be a crime and we should arrest them all."
Doug Powers who writes at MichelleMalkin.com writes -- quote -- "She does know that it is a crime to be an illegal alien, right? Normally something that has the word 'illegal' right there in its name is a big clue that it might not be legal."
And, residents in Cordova, Alabama are furious over their city's refusal to lift a ban on single-wide mobile homes for tornado victims.
Mayor Jack Scott is being called heartless for not allowing residents who lost homes in April's deadly twisters to occupy temporary housing provided by FEMA.
But Scott says he doesn't want run-down trailers parked all over town years from now.
