And now some fresh pickings from the Political Grapevine:

Consider the Source

The Girl Scouts say they will no longer recommend the liberal website Media Matters as a good source for fact-checking suspected media bias.

The Scouts' book "Media" includes a section called "Consider the Source," devoted to news and urban legends -- quote-- "Media Matters for America gets the word out about media misinformation."

But industry blog Mediaite says Media Matters has a -- quote -- "far-left bent" that is both "transparent" and "indisputable."

Exit Strategy?

The daughter of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says her mom wants to quit Congress.

Filmmaker Alexandra Pelosi tells the Big Government website -- "She would retire right now if the donors she has didn't want her to stay so badly. They know she wants to leave, though. They think she's destined for the wilderness. She has very few days left. She's 71. She wants to have a life. She's done. It's obligation, that's all I'm saying."

In a follow up text to the reporter, the younger Pelosi clarified -- quote -- "I said she is destined for GREATNESS! Not wilderness."

Late today, the Leader's office said the quotes were Alexandra's personal opinions, adding any retirement speculation was "totally untrue."

Every Rose Has Its Thorn

Finally, Occupy Wall Street protesters are planning to occupy the Tournament of Roses Parade.

Cybercast News reports after being denied a permit for the actual parade Monday, "Occupiers" have decided to create a human float and march down the street behind the police motorcade that marks the official end of the procession.

The last float in the parade is number 43. So they have designated their float number 44.
