With polls showing nearly 60 percent of Americans do not want a witch hunt surrounding the Bush administration's anti-terror policies, President Obama now says he is not supporting an investigation.

So the president is back to his original position. It's a shame he waffled earlier this week, giving the far-left loons an opportunity to run wild.

Most sane Americans know the controversy is absolutely destructive to America. President Obama has his hands full with the economy, and now it looks like Pakistan might blow up, as the Taliban are on the march.

And the far left wants a foolish witch hunt? These people are so stupid, they're dangerous.

Speaker Pelosi is still — still — calling for an investigation, despite the fact there is evidence she knew exactly what the Bush administration was doing while interrogating captured Al Qaeda. But let's just break this down so that even NBC News can understand it.

After 9/11, this country was in chaos. The CIA and FBI were caught totally unprepared. Threats were pouring in. Drastic action had to be taken to prevent more murder. So tough action was taken, and it worked. We were not attacked again.

These ideological nuts who are calling for vengeance on the Bush administration are simply hateful.

Mistakes are made in every war. Harry Truman could have been tried as a war criminal; General Patton as well. Abraham Lincoln suspended habeas corpus during the Civil War. War is hell. Not everything goes by the book.

Every single mistake the Bush administration made in the War on Terror is fodder for the ACLU, MoveOn, The New York Times and other haters who couldn't care less about their own country. They just want revenge.

I'm fed up, ladies and gentlemen, and I'm calling out these people. We are living in a dangerous time. People want to kill us. The economy is brutal. And nuclear-armed Pakistan is chaotic. Enough is enough with the anti-American garbage in this country.

Polls prove most Americans do not want a partisan witch hunt to weaken the nation. For those who don't get that, we should let them know directly.

And that's "The Memo."

Pinheads & Patriots

Twelve-year-old Brandon Pilovski from New Jersey recently pitched a perfect game for his little league team. So of course "FOX & Friends" guy Brian Kilmeade had to call Brandon out:

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BRIAN KILMEADE, CO-HOST, "FOX & FRIENDS": There's no way you can hit it.

STEVE DOOCY, CO-HOST, "FOX & FRIENDS": All right, Brandon. All right, guys.

KILMEADE: It's so dry up here right now.

DOOCY: About an inch off.

KILMEADE: You guys, what did I tell you? He may be great, but that target's so small.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

Excellent. Kilmeade is still in there. We're not letting him out because he's a pinhead, and Brandon is a patriot.

And Brian isn't the only pinhead. Some guy at a music festival in California got naked and started running around. Not a great idea.

The cops pounced, had to Taze the guy, and with no clothes on, that is a risky proposition, if you know what I mean. The guy was arrested and is a pinhead.
