GRETA VAN SUSTEREN, HOST: Does the layout of the murdered Clemson college student's apartment expose clues as to why and how she was murdered?

Joining us in South Carolina is Lisa Trippany, a friend of Tiffany Souers' who also lives in the apartment complex where the murder took place.

Welcome, Lisa.

LISA TRIPPANY, FRIEND OF TIFFANY SOUERS: Hi, Greta.

VAN SUSTEREN: Lisa, how far is your apartment from the apartment where Tiffany was murdered — or — yes, where Tiffany was murdered?

TRIPPANY: First semester of the year, I lived in the apartment building right next to hers. And then second semester, I moved to an apartment building at the front of the complex, and her apartment building is at the back.

VAN SUSTEREN: Is her apartment on the first floor of the building?

TRIPPANY: Yes, it's on the ground floor.

VAN SUSTEREN: Do you know or have you seen any surveillance cameras in the immediate area of her apartment, or that building in the apartment complex?

TRIPPANY: Honestly, I don't think the Reserve has any surveillance cameras in the quarters of the apartments, but each individual apartment does have a security system.

VAN SUSTEREN: Have you actually been inside this apartment where Tiffany was murdered?

TRIPPANY: Yes, ma'am.

VAN SUSTEREN: All right. So if you walk in — does it have three bedrooms? Is that right?

TRIPPANY: Four bedrooms.

VAN SUSTEREN: Four bedrooms. You walk in, what's the first thing you see when you walk in her door?

TRIPPANY: I haven't been in there in a while, but all the apartments are set up very similar. And when you walk in, usually, the kitchen is on your left or right, depending on what the set-up is. And then there are two alcoves for bedrooms. Each two bedrooms share a bathroom.

VAN SUSTEREN: Have you had a chance to speak to police? Have they come out and asked you questions, like a lot of people?

TRIPPANY: I spoke to police on Monday morning.

VAN SUSTEREN: What kind of questions were they asking of you and others who live in the complex?

TRIPPANY: They just asked us to identify some pictures that have Tiffany and her friends in them. I think they were just trying to glean as much information as they could.

VAN SUSTEREN: Did you have a chance to see any, like, very poor quality pictures? They're going to release one tomorrow that they have fixed up. They've enhanced it. But did you see a poor quality picture?

TRIPPANY: No, ma'am. They were all pictures from my facebook account, which is a college Internet network. And they were just asking me to identify a couple people and asked what they were like, if I knew who they were.

VAN SUSTEREN: This is pretty hard on all of you, isn't it.

TRIPPANY: Right.

VAN SUSTEREN: How do you react to this? I mean, what do you do now, just go pack to school and just wait for it to be solved, basically?

TRIPPANY: Right. Well, honestly, I don't think I've had my big cry yet, and I don't think I will until we get some answers. And I think that we're pretty close to that now.

VAN SUSTEREN: Well, it certainly seems like you're close to it, Lisa, because we're waiting for this photo to be released tomorrow, and maybe someone in the photo recognizes, you know, who it is that the police see as a suspect. Lisa, thank you very much, and good luck. And let's hope that there's a suspect in custody tomorrow night.
