BEIJING (AP) — Premier Wen Jiabao urged better treatment for China's legions of young migrant workers amid a wave of labor disputes that has hit the country's manufacturing industry.In a speech to a group of about 50 young workers in Beijing, Wen said the country's "new generation" of migrant workers in particular ought to have improved conditions on the job, the official Communist Party paper, People's Daily, reported Tuesday."Your work is glorious and should be respected by society at large. Migrant workers should be cared for, protected and respected, especially the younger generation of them," he told workers at the construction site for the No. 6 subway in the capital on Monday.
