DEN BOSCH, Netherlands (AP) — Second-seeded Dinara Safina of Russia was knocked out of the first round of the Unicef Open with a 6-7 (4), 6-4, 6-4 loss to Magdalena Rybarikova of Slovakia on Sunday.

In other matches, Dominika Cibulkova of Slovakia beat British teenager Laura Robson 6-3, 6-4, and Andrea Petkovic of Germany defeated Petra Kvitova of the Czech Republic 6-3, 7-6 (6).On the men's side, Colombian Alejandro Falla beat Florent Serra of France 6-4, 6-4, and will next face top seed Ivan Ljbicic of Croatia.Simon Greul of Germany defeated Dutchman Robin Haase 7-5, 7-6 (5).Justine Henin, who was given a wild card and seeded No. 1, will make her first appearance on grass since Wimbledon in 2007.
