Berdych sails into Chennai Open quarters

CHENNAI (Reuters) - Top seed Tomas Berdych breezed into the quarter-final of the Chennai Open with a 6-2 6-4 win over Croatia's Ivan Dodig on Wednesday. The world number six broke his opponent twice in the first set and then served out to pocket the match in 87 minutes."The start of the tournament has been pretty good so far. I made a couple of mistakes but I had the advantage of two breaks," Berdych, who meets either Robert Kendrick or Blaz Kavcic in the quarter-final, told reporters."It's important for me to concentrate... the scores may look like as if the match was easy, but I can tell you no match is ever easy. One has to play well to make it look easy.""I have had a good start in the tournament but I am not looking at the semi-final or final yet. My next match is what counts."(Reporting by Amlan Chakraborty in New Delhi; editing by Pritha Sarkar)...
