Small Stolen Plane Lands at Los Angeles Airport

Police have arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of flying a small stolen plane that made an unauthorized landing at Los Angeles International Airport.

Police spokesman Cleon Joseph says Skye Turner was arrested Friday afternoon, hours after stealing the Cirrus SR22 from San Diego County and landing at LAX. He was booked on $20,000 bail.Joseph says he does not know whether Turner has retained an attorney. A call to a Skye Turner of Oceanside was not immediately returned.An employee at a flight school based in Montgomery Field says the plane was reported missing Thursday night. He says the plane, which belonged to a client of the school, was parked behind a fence on airport property.FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller says airport police contacted the agency after the pre-dawn landing....
