Steve Ralston signs with AC St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Steve Ralston has signed with AC St. Louis of the new North American Soccer League after a 14-year career with Major League Soccer .The 35-year-old St. Louis native signed Monday, becoming what the new league said was the first MLS player to join a non-MLS team. He will also serve as the club's assistant coach.Team spokesman Tony Hubert said Ralston was an unrestricted free agent after eight seasons with the New England Revolution . Ralston is first in MLS games played with 378.Ralston went to Oakville High School and Forest Park Community College in St. Louis before going to Florida International University.The NASL was established in November with nine teams....
