Coach Paulo Bento extends contract with Portugal by 2 years until 2016

Portugal national soccer team coach Paulo Bento has signed a two-year contract extension.The Portuguese Football Federation announced Wednesday the 44-year-old's new deal will run through the 2016 European Championship in France.His current contract was to end after this year's World Cup in Brazil. Portugal is in Group G with Germany, the United States and Ghana.Bento took over in 2010 and guided Portugal the 2012 European Championship semifinals....
