Sociedad falters at Getafe

Real Sociedad failed to strengthen its hold on fourth place in La Liga on Monday as the club dropped a 2-1 contest at Getafe.Valencia's 4-0 win over Osasuna on Saturday allowed Los Che to move to within two points of Sociedad for fourth place.But after Carlos Vela opened the scoring in the fourth minute with a diving header on Monday, it looked as though Sociedad would maintain its five-point lead.However, Getafe responded with the equalizing goal in the 18th minute after a terrible giveaway by the Sociedad defense allowed Pedro Leon to slot a shot past goalkeeper Claudio Bravo from inside the penalty area.The decisive goal came six minutes before halftime and it was courtesy of Abdel Barrada, who pounced on a rebound from Angel Lafita's shot to fire into the empty net....
