Tim Burke (Paul Smiths, N.Y.) made U.S. biathlon team history on Feb. 14, winning silver in the 20-kilometer individual event at the 2013 IBU World Championships in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic. The finish marked Burke's first-career world championships medal and the first for a U.S. athlete in 26 years. The U.S. men finished 12th in the 4x7.5K, while the women finished 11th in the relay.
