Boise State coach Chris Petersen has been rewarded after completing another impressive season.The state Board of Education voted 5-2 Thursday to give Petersen a $50,000 bonus and a $35,000 bump in annual salary after the Broncos compiled a 12-1 record and ended the season in the Top 10 again.The increase raises Petersen's overall bonus for 2010 to $125,000.The pay raise will apply to each of the five years remaining on his contract.Petersen earned $1.49 million in 2010. The raise will bump total compensation to $1.52 million in 2011 and escalate to $1.87 million in 2015.Athletic director Gene Bleymaier told the board Petersen is one of college football's most successful coaches the last five years and extra cash will help keep him in Boise....
