2-magnitude earthquake has struck off Chile's southern coast, but the authorities say it wasn't felt on land and discounted the possibility of a tsunami.The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake's epicenter was 336 miles (542 kilometers) west-southwest of Castro, Los Lagos. It struck Thursday evening local time off the coast of the Aysen region and at depth of 6.2 miles (10 kilometers).Aysen Gov.
