Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles welcomes son

Sugarland singer Jennifer Nettles has a new member of the family.A statement issued Friday says Nettles gave birth to son Magnus Hamilton Miller on Thursday. It's the first child for the 38-year-old singer and husband Justin Miller.Nettles says in the statement the couple is thankful for all the prayers and support they've received "and are excited to take some time together as a new family." Nettles and Miller celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary last month.No other details were immediately available.Multiplatinum-selling Sugarland, comprised of Nettles and duo partner Kristian Bush, is one of country music's most popular acts.
