Mötley Crüe is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1981. The group was founded by bass guitarist Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee, who were later joined by lead guitarist Mick Mars and lead singer Vince Neil.

The idea of the four bad boys of rock running loose in Sin City seems like a natural. So what took so long? "The timing was right," lead singer Vince Neil told Fox 411. Bassist Nikki Sixx added: "It took a while to work out all the logistics and stuff, it's something that we've been talking about for a long time."The metal pioneers kicked off their run on February 3rd, but not without running into some challenges.
