NEW YORK – Multi-platinum country music star Dierks Bentley and hip hop / electro pop group Far East Movement will be among the performers at the 2011 NHL Awards™, the National Hockey League announced today. Bentley and Far East Movement will take the stage on Wednesday, June 22 at the Pearl Concert Theater inside the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas for the sold out event. Hosted by actor/comedian Jay Mohr , the NHL Awards will feature the best hockey players in the world alongside celebrities from music, stage and screen in celebration of the 2010-11 hockey season. The 2011 NHL Awards will be broadcast live at 7pm ET on VERSUS in the U.S. and CBC in Canada .Bentley and Far East Movement's music should be familiar to NHL fans.
