Smith-Pelly scores twice to lead Majors to Memorial Cup final berth

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. - Devante Smith-Pelly and the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors are off to the final of the MasterCard Memorial Cup.Smith-Pelly scored twice as the Majors dispatched a pesky Kootenay Ice squad 3-1 on Friday night in the tournament semifinal, delighting the enthusiastic Hershey Centre sellout of 5,429 spectators.But the victory didn't come easily.Kootenay fell behind 2-0 for the third straight game and did pull to within 2-1 with a dramatic goal at 19:59 of the second period.
