Ducks sign Brandon McMillan to entry-level contract

The Anaheim Ducks announced the signing of left wing Brandon McMillan to a three-year entry-level contract Friday.McMillan, 20, appeared in 55 games in his fourth season with the Kelowna Rockets of the Western Hockey League in 2009-10, scoring 25 goals and 42 assists with 63 penalty minutes and a plus-11 rating. McMillan (5-foot-11, 185 pounds) also led the Rockets in postseason scoring with 15 points (5 goals, 10 assists) in 12 games.In addition, McMillan, a native of Richmond, British Columbia, appeared for Team Canada at the 2010 IIHF World Junior Championship in Regina and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, scoring 4 goals and 8 points in six contests en route to the silver medal.McMillan scored 56 goals and 113 assists in 251 career WHL games.
