Titans waive veteran C Eugene Amano

The Tennessee Titans have waived veteran center Eugene Amano after he spent nine seasons and played 124 games for the franchise.The Titans announced they made the move Thursday following an organized team activity.Amano was a seventh-round draft pick out of Southeast Missouri State in 2004, and he wound up starting 68 games for the Titans at left guard and center. He signed a five-year, $26.2 million deal with Tennessee in February 2010. But he tore his triceps last August and spent the season on injured reserve.The Titans signed three offensive linemen during free agency, including Andy Levitre.
