Clemens, Hicks, Horton highlight Redskins' final cuts

The Washington Redskins trimmed their man limit on Saturday by waiving 24 players, including quarterback Kellen Clemens , offensive lineman Artis Hicks and safety Chris Horton .Clemens, in his sixth season, was signed by the Redskins on July 29. He spent the last five years with the Jets, primarily as a backup, and threw for 1,686 yards and five touchdowns against 11 interceptions in 25 games.Hicks started 10 games at right guard for the Redskins last season. The 32- year-old Memphis product has appeared in 109 games -- 68 starts -- over nine seasons with the Eagles, Vikings and Redskins.Horton was a seventh-round pick by Washington in the 2008 NFL draft . He started seven games last season, compiling nine tackles.
