The Panthers also placed offensive tackle Garry Williams on season-ending injured reserve, while rookie cornerback Brandon Hogan will miss at least the first six weeks of the 2011 campaign after being put on the reserve physically unable to perform list.Hayden started 10 times during Carolina's 2-14 campaign of 2010, while Irvin -- a third-round pick of the Panthers in 2009 -- had been running with the first team for most of this preseason.
