The Jetsons is an animated sitcom produced by Hanna-Barbera, originally airing in prime-time from 1962–1963 and again from 1985–1987. It was Hanna-Barbera’s Space Age counterpart to The Flintstones, a half-hour family sitcom projecting contemporary culture and lifestyle into another time period.

The future was supposed to be here by now.

For years, we've been promised smart home technologies, those fantastical futuristic toys that would transform the home into a gleaming digital palace, but they never seem to materialize.Sure, we've come close. But while " The Jetsons " had a robo-maid, we've had to make do with mere robo-vacuums.
