Angels go for rare sweep of White Sox

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim will take aim at just their second series sweep of the season on Sunday when they battle the Chicago White Sox in a primetime showdown.The Angels pulled out a 7-5 victory on Friday night and followed that up with a 3-2 win over Chicago on Saturday, their third straight triumph.All the scoring came early on in the contest. Mike Trout hit a two-run home run in the first inning as the Angels got out to a quick lead. The White Sox then tied the game, 2-2, with a pair of RBI singles in the second inning. The last bit of scoring came in the third inning when Albert Pujols scored what turned out to be the winning run on a passed ball.Jerome Williams got the win for the Angels as he pitched into the seventh inning and allowed two runs on seven hits while striking out three batters.
