Baltimore Orioles' Koji Uehara given cortisone injection in right elbow, says he's not worried

Baltimore Orioles right-hander Koji Uehara has been given a cortisone injection in his right elbow.Uehara was scratched from his scheduled appearance Thursday in the Orioles' game against Minnesota.The right-hander said through a translator that he wasn't worried about the elbow and expected to be able to pitch "within a week."The 35-year-old Uehara has endured two injury-riddled seasons with Baltimore.
