Dodgers go for series win over Rockies

The Los Angeles Dodgers shoot for a series win over the Colorado Rockies tonight in the middle portion of a three-game series from Chavez Ravine.

The Dodgers opened the set with Friday's 7-3 victory thanks to home runs by Andre Ethier, Juan Uribe and Mark Ellis. Ethier had three hits, two RBI and two runs scored, while Ellis collected two hits, two runs scored and drove in three runs for the Dodgers, who have won four of six and sit six games ahead of San Francisco for the NL West lead.Chris Capuano tossed seven innings of one-run ball to push his mark to 5-0 this season. He allowed four hits and did not issue a walk while striking out three batters. The Dodgers improved to 6-1 in Capuano's seven starts."Give credit to their left-handed starter.
