Athletics send Reddick to DL

The Oakland Athletics placed right fielder Josh Reddick on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday with a sprained right wrist.Reddick has struggled this season and is batting .152 with one homer and 14 RBI over 29 games. It will be his first career stint on the DL.Oakland also selected the contract of first baseman Daric Barton from Triple-A Sacramento.
