Diamondbacks reinstate OF Kubel from paternity list

The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated outfielder Jason Kubel from the paternity list Friday.

Kubel, 30, left the team Wednesday morning and returned to Arizona for the birth of his second child.He is hitting .297 with four home runs and 23 RBI this season, his first with the D-backs after signing a two-year deal with the club in the offseason.To make room on the roster, outfielder A.J. Pollock was optioned to Triple-A Reno.Pollack did not appear in a game during Kubel's absence, but he hit .229 with a home run and four runs batted in through 20 games with Arizona from April 18-May 18....
