Garza sharp in Rays' win over Pirates

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. (AP) — Matt Garza pitched three scoreless innings and Fernando Perez hit a two-out RBI single in the 10th to give the Tampa Bay Rays a 4-3 victory over a Pittsburgh Pirates split-squad on Monday.Garza allowed three hits, struck out five and walked none.Tampa Bay pushed across two runs in the seventh to tie it at 3. Matt Joyce doubled in a run and Sean Rodriguez had an RBI single.Perez's winning hit off Jeff Sues drove in pinch-runner Tim Beckham from second base.
