The Seattle Mariners signed outfielder Endy Chavez to a minor league contract on Sunday.Chavez was the Mariners' opening day left fielder in 2009, but his season was cut short due to an ACL tear in his right knee.The 35-year-old Chavez appeared in 64 games for Baltimore in 2012.Chavez is a career .269 hitter with 26 home runs, 32 triples, 100 stolen bases and 229 RBI in 974 games with Kansas City, Montreal/Washington, Philadelphia, the New York Mets, Seattle, Texas and the Orioles....
