Fister set to follow Sanchez's game against Twins

Doug Fister hasn't lost a home start since Aug. 19 of last year. The right-hander toes the rubber Saturday afternoon for the Detroit Tigers against the Minnesota Twins when the teams resume a four-game series from Comerica Park.Fister is 4-0 with a 3.00 ERA on the bump at home this season. His winning streak at Comerica Park goes back eight starts with a 6-0 ledger since the Aug. 19 defeat to Baltimore.Most recently, Fister was touched for nine hits and five runs in 4 2/3 innings of a no-decision at Texas on Sunday. He's 3-6 with a 3.13 ERA in nine games against Minnesota.Right-hander P.J. Walters was recalled from Triple-A Rochester to start today's game for the Twins in what will be his 2013 major league debut. Walters has fashioned a 4-2 record with a 3.31 ERA in nine starts thus far for Rochester. He went 2-5 with a 5.69 ERA in 12 starts last year for Minnesota.
