Freeman's HR in ninth ends late night in Atlanta

Freddie Freeman blasted a two-run homer in the ninth inning to lift the Atlanta Braves to a 2-1 win over the New York Mets on Monday.Mets starter Dillon Gee (5-7) scattered three hits over 8 1/3 innings, then gave up a base hit to Justin Upton before Freeman crushed a no-doubter over the wall in right field."I knew I hit it good enough. I didn't know if it was going to stay fair, actually, because it was an inside pitch. I didn't know if I was able to get my hands inside.
