Kirstie Louise Alley (born January 12, 1951) is an American actress known for her role in the TV show Cheers, in which she played Rebecca Howe from 1987–1993, winning an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award as the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series in 1991. She is also known for her role in the thriller Shoot to Kill and the Look Who's Talking film series as Mollie Ubriacco.

TBS late-night host George Lopez apologized via his Twitter page Thursday for comparing “Dancing With the Stars” contestant Kirstie Alley to a pig on his show Wednesday, but Alley wasn’t having it.
On Wednesday, Lopez said of her dancing on the ABC show, "She did a nice job, her little hooves tapping away. Before the show, she went to the market, and then she had roast beef and this is her going all the way home,” before cutting to a squealing pig from a GEICO commercial. After a firestorm of criticism, Lopez apologized Thursday, Tweeting, “I misjudged the joke.
