Well, that was quick. Netflix's constantly kvetching, washed up, alcoholic, anthropomorphic equine is has already been scheduled for a third season.

Following the series premiere less than a year ago, BoJack Horseman will return for its third season run sometime in 2016 with at least 12 new episodes. All the series regulars are set to return (Will Arnett, Alison Brie, Aaron Paul, Amy Sedaris, etc.) and no major shakeups have yet been reported.

For the uninitiated, BoJack Horseman follows the self-loathing former star of a sitcom called Horsin' Around as he putzes around Hollywood, complaining about anything and everything. The series has caught fire with audiences, so if you're a fan of the so-sad-that-it's-funny genre, this is right up your alley.

News of the show being picked up came via the Television Critic's Association summer press tour, and Vulture reports that plenty of other Netflix announcements came out of the event. Here's a rundown:

  • Aziz Ansari's highly-anticipated sitcom Master of None will debut on November 6, 2015 and will follow the personal and professional life of an indecisive young man named Dev.
  • The release of a new Chelsea Handler's Documentary series called Chelsea Does is imminent and will chronicle the comedian's attempts to do a number of controversial/amusing/interesting things.
  • A new Keith Richards Documentary (Keith Richards: Under the Influence) will air September 18, 2015.
  • Longmire will return for a fourth season September 10, 2015.
  • With Bob and David, a sketch-comedy series starring Bob Odenkirk and David Cross, will premier Q4 2015.
  • Marvel's Jessica Jones, starring Krysten Ritter and David Tennant, will premier Q4 2015.
  • Sofia Coppola's A Very Murray Christmas, starring Bill Murray and a host of other stars (George Clooney, Michael Cera, Chris Rock, etc.), will premier Q4 2015.
  • Hemlock Grove will be returning for its final season Q4 2015.
  • F is for Family, an animated show from Bill Burr, will premier Q4 2015.
  • A plethora of Comedy Specials are on the way: Demetri Martin: Live (At the Time), August 14, 2015; Anjelah Johnson: Not Fancy, October 2, 2015; Anthony Jeselnik: Thoughts and Prayers, October 16, 2015; John Mulaney: The Comeback Kid, November 13, 2015; Brent Morin, December 1, 2015; Mike Epps: After Dark, December 18, 2015.
