This is nothing to Yahoo! about.

In a memo sent out Friday by Yahoo!, the tech giant announced that all employees who work remotely have to start coming into the office by June, AllThingsDigital reports.

“We need to be one Yahoo!, and that starts with physically being together,” the memo reads. “Speed and quality are often sacrificed when we work from home.”

Sources told AllThingsDigital that the rule, rolled out by CEO Marissa Mayer, will apply to several hundred employees -- including those who work from home only a day or two each week -- with few exceptions.

In an email, one Yahoo! employee called the new rule “outrageous and a morale killer.”

A Yahoo! spokesperson said the company doesn’t comment on internal affairs.
