Police have appealed for witnesses after an attacker used a stun gun on a motorist before stealing his car.
A man was jumped on from behind and a stun gun fired at his chest as he and his girlfriend got out of their red Ford Fiesta.
The 23-year-old fell to the floor as the attacker drove off in the car.
The attack took place in Denton, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom August 6 at about 9:45 pm.
Detective Sergeant Graham Fielding said: "The victim didn't know what hit him. Being stung in the chest with a stun gun can be extremely painful and it must have been terrifying for him. This offender will clearly stop at nothing and needs to be caught. I now want to appeal to anyone in the area who saw anything to call us."
