Daydreaming Can Improve Your Memory, Study Says

If you are feeling like you can’t remember things very easily, a study suggests you should allow yourself to drift off into la-la land, Asian News International reported.

A study out of New York University found that people who performed several tasks without taking a break had a poor memory.

But the people who took the time to let their minds wander were able to remember more.

"Our data suggests that if you are not allowing yourself, not giving yourself a break, it is costly," said Lila Davachi, an assistant professor in NYU’s Department of Psychology and Center for Neuroscience.
