Florida Girl, 7, in Critical Condition After Dog Attack

DECATUR, Ga. – A 7-year-old girl is in critical condition after being attacked by two dogs Tuesday in DeKalb County.

Authorities haven't identified the girl.

Officer Jason Gagnon says an officer responding to the scene saw two dogs attacking the child. He says the officer pulled out his baton to fight off the dogs, and one of the animals ran away.

The other dog attempted to charge the officer, and he fired a gunshot, killing the dog.

Authorities are still looking for the owner of the dog.
